The years prior to becoming a pastor trained me for where I am today. Quickly, I realized that the role of a pastor has changed. In this critical shift in digital content, I found myself navigating the traditional role of pastoring in person and through content online. This transition led me to start the Why God Why podcast with my friend John to answer and anticipate the questions that people do not feel safe to ask in church. Even the creation of this website invited conversations with the people I serve in the local church and beyond that I never thought I would have.

My experience outside of working for the church has shaped how the content that I create. The goal is simple – to provide helpful and practical resources for people to live out their faith in the Monday-Saturday of life and not just Sunday morning. My prayer and hope for you is that you would realize that your Jesus meets you in tangible real ways in your everyday life – your work, relationships, passions, worries, dreams, and hopes. Let’s figure this out together.
