Our guilt from the past mistakes and failures.
We confess the jumbled up mess in our minds.
Rather than run from it, we acknowledge it.
Rather than pushing it away, we welcome it.
Shine the light of the gospel in our minds today.
So, Lord, we ask You for clearheadedness.
Replace the lies we believe with Your truth.
Give us a glimpse below the surface of our thoughts.
Slow us down with Your wisdom instead of our knee-jerk reactions.
May the content of our thoughts lead us to ceaseless prayer with You.
Guard our minds today.
You offer us hope in Your love.
Your death on the cross and resurrection redeems our minds.
We no longer have to be swayed by the wave of our thoughts.
In Your grace, we can experience peace amid the storm.
So Lord, give us clearheadedness.
Renew our minds.
Help us to think on the thoughts you offer.
