Lord, You alone are our King.
You created the earth into being.
You placed the stars in the cosmos.
You know all and see all.
Nothing takes you by surprise.
Knowing You hold the universe together, we lift up this election to you.
The hearts of our leaders are in Your hands.
We relinquish our anxiety and fear.
We confess our sins of placing too much stock in the politics of the day.
Help us to love our neighbor even when we politically disagree with them.
Watch over President Trump and the First Lady in the hospital with the Coronavirus.
Guide the doctors in wisdom.
Watch over Vice President Joe Biden in this season and give him good health.
We pray for the Vice Presidential Debate with Mike Pence and Kamala Harris this week.
May each candidate carry themselves with civility and respect for one another.
You have blessed America far more than we could ever deserve.
Thank you for the opportunity to vote for elected officials.
We pray that You would thwart any plan that would hinder the equity in voting.
No matter the outcome, we pray that You would miraculously heal our nation.
King Jesus, we trust You alone.
Our hope is firmly planted in You as our Savior.
Let us live out the good news of the gospel.
Turn our hearts and minds towards You in this season.
